The Pantry Remodel Project – Shelves and Organization

My first project for this blog is a large unused closet by our garage door. I say unused, but it is an excellent space to stash junk. I have bigger plans in mind for it though.

I’m also considering painting the tile floors in the closet and hallway to look like encaustic tile. I’m thinking a warm grey and white. I like the styles below.

This is one of the tutorials for painted tile that I’ve found. There are several out there. I like this one because she has the large 24″ tiles like mine.

So far, I’ve painted walls, changed all of the lights to bright daylight bulbs, and started changing outlets and switches to white.

It’s slow going, but these pictures give some much needed inspiration to get it done.
