Drink your vitamins! The smoothie hit the spot tod Drink your vitamins! The smoothie hit the spot today. Use fresh fruit or frozen. 

Here’s what I put in it :
1/2 cup frozen blueberries 
1/2 cup frozen, sliced strawberries 
1/4 cup blackberries
2 cups baby kale/spinach 
10 oz unsweetened almond milk 
2 scoops chocolate, protein powder 

It’s full of antioxidants and tastes like a fancy chocolate treat!🍫🍓

Is prioritizing hard for you? It’s a big challenge for me. I don’t like saying “no” to anything! 

Lately it’s been easier because I’ve taken the time to prioritize what really matters. Then, after filtering major decisions through those priorities, things become so much clearer. The “no” is easier because it’s really a “yes” to what matters most. 

How about you? Do you fall into the trap of wanting to do it all?

Everyone has 24 hours in a day, but we feel like w Everyone has 24 hours in a day, but we feel like we never have enough time. What if that’s the whole point? 

I think God knew exactly what he was doing when he made the length of a day. 

The constraints of time mean that we really can’t do everything. We have to choose where we spend our time based on what we value most. 

Where you spend your time shows what is important to you. 

Wisdom is choosing to do now what you will be happy you chose later. - Joyce Meyer

This idea definitely has me thinking and re-evaluating my days. Am I spending time on the important things?

As I’m thinking about this year, I want to make As I’m thinking about this year, I want to make sure we plan to have fun! GoKart racing, trips to the beach, camping, disc golf, real golf… I want more fun things that bring us together. 

My goal is one family fun activity each month. 

Also, swipe if you need some dinner inspo for the week.

We’re 6 days in… who’s already messed up on We’re 6 days in… who’s already messed up on one of your goals? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Guess what I’m NOT doing? Giving up. 

Lets keep at it. Ultimately it’s not about the goal, it’s who you become through the process. 

Also, I’m loving my “quieted” house and cleared surfaces without the Christmas decorations. Feels so peaceful.

It’s a new year with new intentions and new goal It’s a new year with new intentions and new goals! Well, to be honest, one goal seems to stick around: get healthy. This year I have a plan in place with specific measures to get there. 

I was encouraged by #cslewis this morning:

“After each failure, ask forgiveness, pick yourself up, and try again. Very often what God first helps us towards is not the virtue itself but just this power of always trying again.”

May we look toward heaven for the power to try again this year.
