I’m a style and decor-loving Louisiana girl bringing inspiration and beauty to my home and the people around me. I blog about home, fashion, and healthy recipes that I cook for my family.

I am so happy you stopped by my pretty, creative space on the internet. Here I share healthy(-ish) recipes kids will love, fashion finds, and budget-friendly room makeovers! I love to tackle a space and make major changes with affordable updates, a little DIY ingenuity, and a great cup of coffee.

I’ve been married to my best friend and the smartest guy I know, Mr. Bayou, for 15 years, and we have three sweet kiddos, ages 13, and 12 (twins). They bring the fun and keep life interesting. I believe mindset is everything, and Jesus is the center of it all.

I’ve always been a writer and creative type. In the past I have worked in public relations, taught elementary and middle school, and been a full-time mom.

Mr. Bayou and I have been through preemie twins, our home flooding, and job loss, but we are incredibly grateful for the life we have. I wouldn’t be able to chase this dream without his support.
